Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000 is an exciting new addition to the Supremacy strategy game series, developed in collaboration with Games Workshop - bringing the iconic Warhammer 40,000 universe to PC and mobile for the first time.
We are looking for a talented and technically skilled Tech Artist to join our SUPREMACY: WARHAMMER 40,000 team and help bring the grim darkness of the far future to life. In this role, you will bridge the gap between art and engineering, ensuring that stunning visuals run efficiently in-game while maintaining the highest production quality. You’ll work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to optimize pipelines, solve technical challenges, and elevate the overall visual and gameplay experience.
YOUR MISSION
- Implement, integrate, and optimize 3D assets within Unity, ensuring visual fidelity, efficient performance, and consistency across platforms
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to establish and maintain efficient art pipelines, from import to implementation, while troubleshooting any technical issues
- Drive improvements in asset creation workflows, shader development, and animation systems to streamline production
- Provide guidance on best practices for scene management, lighting, and rendering optimization
- Support the art team with tools and scripts that improve iteration speed and production efficiency
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to art assets, performance, and engine integration
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Artist or related role in game development, preferably in Unity-based projects
- Deep understanding of Unity engine, including asset integration, animation systems, materials, and lighting
- Strong grasp of 3D asset optimization, LOD systems, and performance profiling
- Solid foundation in art fundamentals such as composition, color, and visual hierarchy, able to bridge aesthetic vision with technical execution
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with both artists and engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Analytical mindset and proactive approach to identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical challenges
